These machines, called Cone Beam Computed Tomography has allowed dentists to plan dental work better and more efficiently, able to see the teeth and underlying structures before even laying hands on the patient. The recommendations include training and re-training as necessary, recommended by the authorities and proper procedural methodologies that are to be made known to all patients and dentists alike for mutual radiation safety to reduce risks associated with radiation and exposure to such materials.
