The advantages of dental implants
Filed under dental implantFeb 12What are the advantages of dental implants?
Well, first off, they’re much more durable than conventional tooth restoration procedures such as dentures and bridges. They are also less of a hassle to maintain, as dentures and bridges need constant replacement and break down faster. In fact dental implants can be seen as a permanent replacement for a lost tooth, which will restore your smile to it’s former glory. They can also be used with other restorative techniques – as it it almost considered a real tooth.

A periodontist or oral surgeon are the dentists specialized in actual dental implant operations with the smaller implant related operations managed by specialists called prosthodontists. However, many general and restorative dentists are also versed in minor dental implant operations.
