• White Wine – A Surprising Culprit

  Many know of the many foods that stain teeth, from tobacco to underlying diseases that plagues millions each and every day. One surprising result from research has brought about a previously hidden culprit, white wine. It seems the chemistry of white wine allows stains to easily permeate the enamel resulting in dark ugly teeth. It has also been found that it seemingly preps the tooth for any stain to become readily absorbed necessitating bleaching, one of the dangers of this white alcoholic beverage. Red wine may have long been a culprit but this comes a s a surprise indeed for there is not much in terms of staining components in the wine type for it to be suspect, the growing bane of stained teeth.
